SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- LRSSports, a product line of Springfield-based Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS), has teamed with 3D technology powerhouse 3D MVP to revolutionize the football coaching industry. Together, LRSSports and 3D MVP are providing coaches the competitive edge with field-level animation of an opponent's plays. This helps a coaching staff better prepare their team by enabling them to show their players in 3D the exact formations, routes, fronts and coverages they will see on the field. Coaches can then more effectively teach the players strategy using what closely resembles a three-dimensional video game format. The 3D format dramatically increases the effectiveness of time spent in the training facility. "We are thrilled about our partnership with 3D MVP," says Ron Wojcicki, Manager, LRSSports(R) Software.
Charlize, Salma, Penelope: Domino Effect
There is Hollywood swinging, and then there is Hollywood swinging. On a day that began in producer Robert Evans' fabled backyard and ended with Cameron Diaz singing along to "Another Brick in the Wall" at Drew Barrymore's birthday party, Thursday night was marked by a ferocious round of something called "Hollywood Domino" in a banquet room at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The players were dressed in formal gowns, since the finalists at three round tables covered in red cloth to accentuate the black dominoes were all glamorous, famous women: Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Donna Karan, Salma Hayek, Demi Moore and daughter Rumer Willis. The one man of boldfaced note who was still playing: Theron's boyfriend, actor Stuart Townsend. Other men dallied through the room including Ashton Kutcher, James Van Der Beek (cheering from the sidelines) and Matthew Perry.

Commitments, however, are only one of many pre-requisites for a long-term relationship to prosper and grow. Comment by Felipe — November 16, 2007 @ 12:45PM I really enjoyed this article. I used to depend too much on my girlfriend, and I didn't see how it was hurting her. Now I work a lot harder to be supportive on all levels. Thanks for bringing the issue to the surface. Comment by E Taylor — November 16, 2007 @ 02:20PM i started out writing something scathing and mean, because my emotions were getting the better of me. i just want to say this; women who believe that they can change men DURING a relationship are wrong. he won't turn into the man you want him to be untill you throw his heart down the garbage disposal and start dating that straightlaced prick with a beamer.
Clinton needs big win to cut into Obama's delegate lead
As much as Hillary Clinton wants to win Ohio on Tuesday, a two-percentage point win won't do her much good in the delegate count. Under the complex mathematical formula the Ohio Democratic Party will use Tuesday to divvy up the 141 delegates at stake in Tuesday's Ohio primary, a candidate has to win big -- really big -- to win the lion's share of the delegates. .
Sam Smith's NBA mailbag
I've long thought the Cavaliers with LeBron James should play faster, but they don't have the point guard. In the end, I don't see the Bulls heading in that direction. I think Larry Hughes is not going to play well for the Bulls. Wouldn't it be a good idea to trade him along with a second round pick in 2010 to Memphis for Mike Miller and Darko Milicic? All three contracts expire at the same time, but the Grizzlies would save a few million dollars and it would work with the league's salary cap guidelines. The Bulls could follow that up by taking a chance on Jermaine O'Neal, sending Andrew Nocioni (no longer would be in the first year of a new deal), Drew Gooden (an expiring contract), Tyrus Thomas, and the Knick's second round pick to the Pacers. Indiana could then begin to start over.
Stocks off lows despite weak economic report
The index, which surveys purchasing managers in the sector, fell to 48.3 from 50.7 in February. Economists were expecting a reading of 49. Any reading below 50 indicates contraction in the manufacturing sector. Meanwhile, oil prices surged nearly $2 a barrel to $103.77 in New York, setting an intraday record of $103.92. Crude prices have been supported in recent weeks by speculative investment and the softening of the dollar, which makes the commodity more appealing to overseas buyers. Other commodities, such as precious metals and wheat, have also been in high demand as the dollar falters. The greenback hit a three-year low against the yen but regained some ground against the euro. The dollar sank to an all-time low against the euro last week. Ahead of the ISM report, Philadelphia Federal Reserve President Charles I.

Joe Crede made just under $5M last year for the White Sox. Garrett Atkins made $400,000 last year for the Colorado Rockies. Lowell will want a lot more as a FA. Crede, coming off major back surgery, is a big question mark.. Atkins would fit perfectly in the Yankees current cut payroll philosophy...I agree whole heartedly with todays previous squawkers who touted Garrett Atkins. All things considered, it seems like a no-brainer...but as a wise man once said, "things are not always as they seem". Just ask those fans who wanted Detroit and Cleveland vs. the Yanks in the last 2 ALDS. On paper though its Garrett Atkins...... .
